COVID-19 Community Letter January 13, 2022

Dear Residents and families,

We are writing to provide you additional updates regarding COVID-19, or Coronavirus, and our continued preventive actions.

This letter is to notify you that a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19 on January 12, 2022. After an extensive investigation including contact tracing, it was determined the staff member acquired the virus outside of the facility and the likelihood of infecting residents is nominal.

We have notified the local health department and continue to conduct bi-weekly COVID-19 testing of all staff. Testing of the residents occurs if a resident exhibits signs or symptoms.

The safety of our residents and families continues to be our top priority and we are doing all we can to protect those we serve. The aggressive infection control measures implemented continue to be our top priority and we appreciate everyone's support during this difficult time.

Please note, if a positive test result of a resident is produced, phone calls will be made directly to the resident family, guardian, and/or power of attorney. A letter will be mailed as well as an update posted on the website to all resident families, guardians, and/or powers of attorney informing of a positive case amongst our resident community.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact me directly if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Paul Foltz – Administrator
