COVID-19 Update

Dear Residents and families,

We are writing to provide you additional updates regarding COVID-19, or Coronavirus, and our continued preventive actions.

The last active case of COVID-19 concludes on Thursday, February 10, 2022, with no other confirmed cases amongst residents. The facility will continue to conduct facility-wide testing of staff bi-weekly per the Chelan County COVID-19 positivity rate. Residents will be tested as needed when signs and symptoms are present.

At the peak of our outbreak, the facility had 34 out of 84 residents test positive for COVID-19 and 28 staff members. We are pleased to report that there were no hospitalizations or deaths as a result of the outbreak. We attribute the satisfactory results with the facility continuing to adhere to strict infection control guidelines, collaborating with local and state health officials, coordinating with our medical director and primary care physician with goals of care and treatment plans, a high vaccination percentage amongst residents (94% have received the vaccination as of this writing) and the support and understanding from our residents and families. We greatly appreciate all your assistance and generosity during this time. The last COVID-19 positive resident case was in December 2020, and it is through everyone’s efforts over the last 13 months which allow us to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our community.

Facility Updates:

  • Starting Tuesday, February 8, 2022, the facility will resume family visits. Please contact the facility to make an appointment.

Regulatory Updates:

  • We continue to follow Washington State Department of Social and Health Service's Safe Start for Long-Term Care Plan as outlined below:
